IMAXXAM acquires new hotel building in central location in Hagen

The hotel building features an innovative room concept for its 85 guest rooms. Various categories are available, ranging from double and family rooms to barrier-free rooms. In addition to the hotel entrances, the ground floor comprises the check-in area with adjoining lobby, reception, office and service rooms, as well as technical and operating rooms. The breakfast room is located on the first floor. The hotel's amenities also include individually controlled air conditioning in each room, an air-to-heat pump, a ventilation system, and a solar panel system on the roof. The offering is complemented by 17 parking spaces with two charging stations for electric vehicles and bicycle storage facilities.
The central location directly at Hagen's main train station gives guests and hotel employees quick access to the city's most important transport routes and offers optimal connections to the public transport network – both locally and nationally. Cities such as Dortmund, Bochum, and Düsseldorf are therefore quickly accessible
, increasing the attractiveness of Hagen as a location for business travelers.
Dortmund Airport is also not far away (25 km). In addition to business travelers, students from the distance-learning university based in Hagen also ensure demand for overnight accommodation. During their studies, they also attend various face-to-face classes and take exams on site. Numerous facilities for everyday needs as well as restaurants and cultural attractions are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Legal and tax due diligence was performed by GSK Stockmann, while the technical review was conducted by Dipl.-Ing. Schultz, an engineering firm specializing in civil engineering.
